Community Counseling Program offers free group counseling services for school aged youth in Washington County with limited or no access to mental health services. Groups are facilitated by experienced, professional providers (such as LPC, LPC-IT, APSW, etc.) and will focus on mental health treatment and helping youth cope with depression, anxiety, and/or grief.
Current Group Offerings:
The Summer Nature Counseling Group meets at Riveredge Nature Center (4458 Cty Rd Y, Saukville) on Thursdays from 5:30-6:15 starting June 11 through August 20. This group is geared towards kids ages 8-12 and provides an opportunity for kids to learn about nature as a coping skill, build healthy peer relationships, and enjoy the outdoors. This group is geared towards families and provides an opportunity for families to learn about nature as a coping skill, encourage healthy communication, and enjoy time together as a family. Nourish & Nature: Family Group Counseling
Nourish & Nature brings families together to cook, eat, & connect as a family. Each week, families help prepare part of a shared dinner, enjoy a full meal together, and practice simple skills for stronger family connection.
Youth and Family Project may partner with local schools and community centers to provide group counseling services during the school day or after school. If you would like your school to host a group or have ideas for after-school groups, please contact us.
